Data Centre Operations Audits (Sample Selection)

Experian - UK

Experian needed an independent organisation to review their outside Facilities Management provider. The audit was to focus on environmental controls and security systems and practises. CBRE UK recommended VBC for the project due to its wide range of experience in the area of auditing. The 2 may audit commenced and a report was issued within a week.

Cobalt Data Centres - UK

Following completion of their data centre fit-out in 2014, CDCL engaged VBC to review their complete operations process and to project manage their road to ISO accreditation. The certification to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 27001 was combined in one very project.

Office Of The Attorney General - Ire

VBC were engaged by the OTAG to carry out a review of the complete data centre security systems, facilities and general operations for the data centre based in Leinster House. Following a thorough auditing process a completed report was issued to the client which allowed the customer to make vital changes to some of the operating process and address critical issues.

ENEL Nation Electrical Grid - Italy

Through a partnership with ABB, VBC were engaged by ENEL to carry out a complete Teir 3 GAP analysis to TIA 942 standards.

ZAIN Mobile - Saudi Arabia

Through a partnership with Data Clean Saudi Arabia VBC was employed to initially carry out 3 data centre audits for Zain Mobile. Following the success of these audits the contract was extended to include an additional 10 audits which included 5 reaudits. The audits were a full Tier 2/3 analysis fo the existing infrastructure against all 250 elements of the TIA 942 requirements.

SIG SUSQUEHANNA - Ireland

SIG Susquehanna brokers were looking for a data centre engineer to design nd implement a number of projects for them in their Dublin office. This included a cooling upgrade of their data centre, a power upgrade and an expansion of the stock broker trading floor. The project sought to bring the data centre from Tier 1 to Tier 2 and was carried out while the data centre and trading floor was kept live at all times.

O2 Mobile - Ireland

We were engaged by O2 mobile to carry out a numebr of data centre and power upgrade projects on their facilities throughout the country. One of the largest of these projects was an upgrade form Teir 2 to Tier 3 on their Willsborough switchsite. in addition we installed a complete upgraded DC infrastructure to accomodate their 3G network. In addition we fittied out a complete new data centre of 500sqm from shell level.
